Please note that all returns to Professor Ink require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number before returning the product. To obtain an RMA number, please submit a support ticket
- Unopened Products
Professor Ink can accept unopened products up to 60 days from the original purchase date of the product. The customer will be responsible for return shipping of the product to Professor Ink. The return will be inspected to ensure the products are in new unopened condition, and the refund can be initiated. The customer will receive their refund via the same method the original purchase was made. The customer will be refunded the original purchase amount minus the original shipping fee on the receipt.
- Opened Products
Professor Ink can accept opened products that are in a resellable condition. Please be sure to double check that you are ordering the correct ink or toner cartridges for your printer. You can consult your printers manual to double check the correct cartridges for your printer model. Products that have been opened and are not in a condition that can be resold unfortunately cannot be accepted for a refund or return.
- Defective Products
In an event that you receive a defective cartridge or that it is not performing as it should, you can contact Professor Ink for a replacement cartridge. We offer a 12 month warranty
on printer cartridges against manufacturer defects. Please read our warranty information
for additional details. When contacting us for a replacement cartridge due to a defective, please provide a detailed description of how the cartridge is underperforming. In many cases, a cartridge is not defective but rather improperly installed. Many cartridges have vacuum strips or tabs that must be fully removed in order for the cartridge to function.
